I am seeking to better understand the evolution of my thoughts in the realm of our cultural, social, political and economic worlds. Our thoughts and how we choose to share them impact our relationships with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors and even strangers.

Over the past decade the civic discourse in the United States has taken on more tension than I have ever witnessed in my lifetime. When discussions become so polarized and divisive, they not only are capable of straining family, they can destroy friendships. They also have far reaching global impacts and change how the rest of the world views us.

Creating space for “exploring thoughts, challenging notions and expanding views about the world we all live in” is my goal. I want to understand how my own thinking has evolved over time. I believe this is the key to improving my connections with those I engage with each and every day.
